The Squish Family

This is an original show specifically for Preschool and Kindergarten.  Momma Squish and her boys will help youngsters, ages 2 - 4, to count and mix colors with the Case of the Brown Footprints.  This is an interactive show with fun sing-a-long music.  It is performed by our puppeteer within view of the audience with Rod style puppets.

Space Requirements: 6' x 6'.
Other Requirements: One chair, provided by the client. (1) 110v outlet behind the stage.
Ages: 2 to 4
Running time: 25 minutes
Maximum Audience: 150 (can reset and perform show maximum of 2 times per day)

Bobo's Big Top

What happens when a "Want to be" Shakespearean actor, Bobo, becomes the Ring Master for a second rate Circus of miss fits? A whole lot of fun and laughs. Throw ina Pizza delivery person who is talked into helping out and you have some great family entertainment. Bobo's Big Top is a one fun happening after another. From silly miss quoted Shakespeare to a seal trying to get a balancing act down, and a Pizza Girl who may just end of staying with the act, kids and parents will have a lot of fun with this one.

Little Red

Meet little Red Riding Hood the third and that favorite villian, The Wolf. Have fun while learning the values of not holding a grudge and how you don't have to be exactly like Mom or Dad to still be a good and capable person. This performance uses Glove and Mouth puppet to tell this fun, mural driven classic.

It should be noted that Renaissance Artist Puppet Company has adopted and adapted this performance from a retiring puppeteer of the 5 County area, Mrs. Claire Nees. We felt that it's foundation was strong, and that it should continue to teach and entertain for our community instead of being put in a box. Thank you Claire for your willingness to allow us to perform the work.

Two Person Show

Shakespearish

This is an introduction to the works of Shakespeare with a
Reduced Shakespeare feel. Written on multiple levels,
this production is an entertaining, educational and theatrical experience that reaches Kindergarteners as well as Middle school students. These engaging performances are based on "Taming of the Shrew" and "Romeo and Juliet", and are told with puppets and live actors, are interactive comedy, and have some slapstick.
Ages 4 and older. Running time approx. 50 minutes.

Excellent for schools and public venues. The kids and adults will have a great time laughing with this Renaissance style performance.


Space Requirements: 10' x 10', ceiling clearance 9'.
Other Requirements: (1) 110v outlet behind stage.
Ages: 4 and up. This is an adult "knee-slapper"
Running time: 40 minutes

Three Person Show

   Tales from the Bayou
(Recipes from a Down Home Cook Book)

This is a show that will tickle your funny bone and raise the hairs on your arms.  You'll never guess what Mama is cookin' up. This story is told with Hand, and Rod puppets. 
Space Requirements: 12' x 10' and ceiling clearance of 10'.
Other Requirements: Two 110v outlets behind the stage area, two circuits to two separate outlets. Also, the room must be capable of being almost totally dark.
Ages: 8 and up
Running time: 45 minutes
Maximum Audience: 350 (can perform show maximum of 2 times per day)

  Alice Through the Looking Glass

Renaissance Artist Puppet Company revisits this Lewis Carroll classic with Shadowesque, Table Top Rod puppets and Mask work. Alice must come to terms with her own fears as she travels through Looking Glass Land.  As with our other productions, music plays a prominant role in this production.  Children will have fun with the fanciful characters and adults will enjoy a multi leveled script and a marvelous original music score.
Space Requirements: 18' x 13' and ceiling clearance of 9'.
Other Requirements: Two 110v outlets behind the stage area, two circuits to two separate outlets.  Also, the room must be capable of being almost totally dark.
Ages: 5 and up
Running time: 55 minutes
